Tuesday, January 23, 2018On behalf of the New York Firefighters Skin Bank at New York Presbyterian Hospital I extend my condolences to Dr Wolf's family and friends. I first met Dr. Wolf as a critical care nurse on the burn center. I was remarked by his care and vigilance in the stabilization of these patients. I had the opportunity to work with him again while I was in the department of epidemiology. His management coupled with academics and no pretense personality awed me. When I began as a director of the skin bank my first call was Dr Wolf for direction and help. He was so generous with his time his knowledge and experience I was so grateful and of course more confident. Of course he was the first appointment to the Skin Banks Medical Advisory Board. After his retirement I was so happy running into him and at times would still call him for advice. He is such a part of my professional history I enjoyed his humor and endlessly respected him. He will be missed. With sympathy Nancy Gallo RN Director New York Firefighters Skin Bank
